A piece that originated from a uni project titled "red chasing blue" and one of my first ever finsihed projects in UE4. I got inspired by lava streams of the Kilauea vulcano on Hawaii meeting the open waters of the pacific. During the realisation it developed away from the ocean theme and I turned towards some concept art for the lava planet of Mustafar in Star Wars (especially the works of Ryan Church http://ryanchurch.com/star-wars-iii/).
